Hi, Wondering if someone can help me with the settings. I just ordered the 8kw inverter and two wall mount 5kw batts kit for an off grid application to replace the Bluetti that wet my appetite for electricity. The Blueti works great but is limited. Id like this Humseink to work just like the bluetti did if possible. I bought this Humsienk Rig because it included all the hardware. As I was looking through the manual I realized maybe it isnt as easy as Id hoped at least in the Inverter settings. Most of the defaults seem preset for my use but a few Im not so sure of.
This is an off grid 120v setup Ill recharge to batts mainly with 2-2kw solar arrays to charge the 2 paralell 5KW batts and occasionally will supplement charging with a 4kw pure sine generator through AC inputs. The generator will only ever be used manually and no auto start. Ill be charging at around 30 amps at 120 volt with 30 amp RV plug and outlet into AC in on the inverter.
I think Ive found most of the settings for this inverter in the manual but Id sure appreciate confirmation for these. Im most afraid of missing an important related settings that Im ignorant of so any other suggestion are also much appreciated.
1. Does it require a earth grounding rod to chassis when neutral and ground are bonded?
2. Which Opeation and input modes solar charging batts, no main grid feed, occasional generator use?
3. Restrict AC input from Gen to 30 amp?
4. Single Phase 120v used with construction 120v breaker box from AC out. L1-N-grd.
5. Comms with the two battery is supposed to be RJ485/CAN Batt1 connected to to RS485/Can Batt2 and then and Line Out to Inverter. Manual not clear. on this.
Can anyone see anything obviously wrong?
Ive been slowly getting the answers I needed but still a few querstions of anyone can help.
