What is the “Idle Draw”?
After the inverter starts, it also has self-consumption, about 20–30W. When the load power stays below 25W for a certain period (configurable), the inverter will enter sleep mode.
How to connect ac in and ac out to breaker panel
Take AC power from the distribution panel through a 40A circuit breaker into the inverter's AC input. Then connect the inverter's AC output through a circuit breaker to the home's critical loads. Do not connect the inverter's AC output directly in parallel with the grid.

When the grid input is normal and an inverter overload occurs, the 48V 8KW inverter will automatically switch to bypass mode, with the grid supplying power directly.
Prerequisites:
- Grid voltage/frequency is normal
- Load does not exceed the bypass limit: 2-pole, 50A/50A (L1/L2)
- 120V: approx. 6,000W per leg
- 240V: approx. 12,000W total
- Exceeding 50A per leg → bypass breaker trips and cuts power; it will not continue supplying.
